Hey hey!! How's everyone now that open house is over?? more relaxed?? heh.. am sure michele is enjoying her stress-free post openhouse days ;) anyway... here's a SHOUT OUT to our dear HUI LING, HUI YI, DOROTHY and JOYCE!! We miss u guys on sunday... try to come okay??anyway... just did my QT and read a little more of jeremiah 7 & 8. In a nut shell, it talks about God being very upset with the pple of Judah coz they are following religious rituals and practices without the heart and substance of faith. This leads me to think how we can be like that as well... Like sometimes why do we go to church on sunday, or do our Qt everyday... on the surface we can say that we're hardcore christians but deep inside do we genuinely want to worship God and spend time with Him? I admit that I'm guilty of this as well... like sometimes i'll just be lazy to read the bible or to even pray for longer than 2mins.... but pple ard me think that i'm some sort of super holy christian, which i regret to say i'm not. the truth is, it's quite hard to make everyday a sunday and worship God throughout the week... Yeah... I guess Jeremiah brought up an important point of knowing why we worship and pray instead of going through the motions...
